ALPHA LASER nominated for Hermes Award

Alpha Laser are among the top 5 nominees for the prestigious Hermes Award for their hand welding laser AL-ARM. The AL-ARM 450 F is a novel mobile laser welding system for flexible repair work. The special feature is that the AR visualization of the welding process takes place via 3D laser safety goggles. This allows the user to simultaneously perceive the welding task and its environment. The welding area is displayed enlarged in his field of view and process-relevant data are displayed in the image. The laser beam is triggered by an ergonomically designed handheld device, which allows flexible and safe use.

Deutsche Messe AG writes in its press release: “If you make it into the Top 5 with your solution, you can count yourself among the world’s most innovative companies”.

The winner of the HERMES AWARD will be announced at the opening ceremony of the Hannover Messe on April 22nd. The five nominated products and solutions will then be presented to a large audience. The award ceremony will be performed by the Federal Minister of Research Anja Karliczek.
